A Beautiful Collaboration

For centuries, bees and people have shared an amazing partnership. Together, they have shared the responsibility for keeping the world full of food and flowers.

All In A Day's Work

Here's what those bees do. It all starts in the hive. There is one queen per hive with hundreds of female worker bees who are divided into two groups, scouts and foragers, and a few male drones whose purpose in life is to mate with the queen.

If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would only have four years left to live - Albert Einstein

They have a meeting in which the scouts and worker bees discuss the agenda for the day, and do a little "waggle" dance.

This dance has the moves that give them the 411 on nectar, pollen, water and plant sap; where it is, and how to bring it home. They leave with their orders, traveling from flower to flower, collecting nectar and pollen grains. Honeybees collect the pollen by rubbing against the anthers within the flowers. The pollen collects on the hind legs, in dense hairs referred to as a pollen basket. As the bee flies from flower to flower, some of the pollen grains are transferred onto the stigma of other flowers.

The nectar collected is later converted to honey.

This honey is then converted into Bee M.D. natural honey throat drops. Only the purest, unpolluted honey goes into Bee M.D.'s organic remedy to soothe your cough, scratchy throat and stuffy mind.

It's only fair to the bees, after all the work they've put in!

Bees pollinating cornfield

It's a Big Deal

For the tiny creatures they are, bees have a major impact on our daily lives. Insect-pollinated crop value is estimated at $20 billion annually in the United States. Over 1/3 of our global food supply would cease to exist without bees acting as pollinators. American farmers' crop yields decline, food prices increase, and this has a major affect on your family.

Where Can They Bee?

The unfortunate news is that our friend the bee is disappearing!!! WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT IT? Buzz here to find out more!!!
